My Windows Home SP3 has a problem booting Windows. It will get so far, then reboot. I can't even get into Safe Mode.

I did get the Blue Screen of Death with the following error:
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

Is there a way I can recover this with out doing a fresh install and losing all of my Data?

Will I also be able to use it as a slave under another XP install and recover my data that way?

I’ve not installed any new hardware or software apart from the AVG Virus updates

Now sorted for the time being! Put the drive on another PC, ran a CHKDSK /F and it sorted it out. I'm now going to do a ful Scandisk and Defrag.
