Windows XP - Change resolution automatically

Hi there,

I frequently change monitor so I can view a PC from different rooms (1xPC, 2xMonitors).

The monitors have different resolutions. Is there anyway I can get Windows XP to automatically go to the maximum resolution of the monitor when it is plugged it because at the moment when I go from the smaller monitor to the bigger monitor it stays at the smaller monitors resolution.

best bet would be a commandline tool, with bat file links on the desktop to do it

It's for my media center, but I have just thought of a way to make that work.
