Hi All,

I have a stand alone Windows XP box that I need to setup a Group Policy on. Is there any way I can do this without it affecting the Admin account?

Cheers,

Deny the Admin account read access to the policy folder.

You need to set it so that the policies dont take effect until a restart. I'd use the admin account to make any changes you want, once your happy deny the admin account access to the folder and then log out and log back in as the account you want the policy to effect and see if it does whant you want it to do.

Excellent that seems to have done the trick! :) But I cannot find out where I make it so they do not take affect until after a reboot?
