Hey all, Can someone please help me out with the problems i'm having with my windows xp please.

Basically, Everytime i restart the pc, Windows will boot up normally but i cant do anything on it, The taskbar appears but no programs load up and i cant open my computer or anything.

So i have to ALT+CTRL+DEL and log off the account through their and when i log back in, Everything will be fine  .

Can anyone tell me why it freezes when restarting pc but logging off and back on fixes it? Thanks

Can you load up Task Manager? I used to have a similar problem where explorer.exe would freeze after a cold boot, but forcefully shutting it down via taskman and either re-launching it or restarting would solve it.

I eventually stopped it happening by going into explorer's folder options and disabling "Launch folder windows in a separate process". Yes, DISABLING - I know it's reccomended to keep that enabled for greater stability, but, apparently, it had the opposite effect in my case...
