When searching for files, sometimes results show up in blue text as opposed to the normal black. Im sure it's not a problem but it's bugging me not knowing what this means.

Aye, they're compressed (encrypted are green I think...?).
To hide this should you want to...
Double-click Folder Options in Control Panel.
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Folder Options.
On the View tab, click to uncheck the Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color check box.
