Don't really know where to post it but this place seems the most appropriate.

I recently got a virus on XP on bootcamp. The virus prevented me from using any programs, after I realised I had a virus I decided to restart my PC and go on safemode. In order to try and delete the virus, I did various scans and they said my PC was clean. After I did the scans I went back on to normal windows and it didn't boot anymore. It freezed with a black screen. I then went back to safe mode and now that didn't start either.

I spoke to a few people and they suggested that I reformat and reinstall windows XP. When I tried reinstalling XP an error came up and it said "nvenetfd.inf on Nivida Network Bus is needed".

I have no idea what to do now and if anyone has any suggestions of possible fixes it would be greatly appriciated! (:
Thank you!

Either the CD is borked or the HD is.
Burn another copy of XP & try that, If it don't work your HD is borked.

Ok, I tried it now with a new disc and now I get a different error "critic error : setup cant install the productcatalogusses" or something similar, I have tried googling it and tried something but that didn't work, so I thought I'd post here for more suggestions.
