Windows XP upgrade, worthwhile?

I ask purely because the system I intend to install it on is used mostly for games and web stuff. I have the option to upgrade to xp SP2. Running windows 2000 SP4 at the mo. got a few issues with it but nothing serious. Think its worth it for any performance boost? Got an athlon x2 3.4 and x1800xt.

Would the performance drop make it worth while upgrading though?

i prefer 2000, but with latest kit XP is better imho. Athlon 64's and newer defintly run better

what performance drop? if u want bf2 and the like xp is the way to go full stop
