Hey guys where the hell do i download Windows XP iso from,i dont want a dodgy copy or any illegal crap i have a licence key just not the ISO for 32bit

It's never been available for Joe Public to download legally. If you want it, you'll have to get creative.

I remembered from a thread I posted years ago someone asked where to download Windows 7 iso, I checked out the site with Windows ISO collection, most links are still working excepted Windows 95, 98, Me, XP SP3 iso links are broken.

You can download Windows XP SP2 iso and install it and activate with your key then download Windows XP SP3 from Microsoft Update Catalog to update it to SP3.

If you want to save time by update SP2 to SP3, you can slipstream SP3 into SP2 iso with either nLite 1.4.9.3 or WinFuture XP-ISO-Builder 3.0.8, the link on nliteos site are not working so I found a site hosted nlite 1.4.9.3.

Microsoft have released XP for free now, so download it from where ever you want, even torrent sites.

That's XP Mode for Windows 7 (a virtual image). It was available back when Windows 7 was originally released to allow people to run legacy applications.

Completely useless for installing onto a physical PC.

What are you basing this on? Where's the statement from Microsoft that XP is now free to use?

Microsoft have never released any versions of Windows for free (to my knowledge), but they are unlikely to come after people pirating the 9x series and older these days. They may not come after XP pirating, but I still would be careful.

As long as you have a valid legal licence though, they would not care about you downloading an ISO.

As far as I know, you can download the ISO images to your hearts content. It's the use of license keys that can be shady.

I couldn't imagine you can buy a copy of Windows XP to install on a PC anymore, especially when there's no more security updates being released.

This is correct..it's they serial keys thats the legal bit.
