windows7 bluescreen, cant run setup!

Hi,

Windows7 has bluescreened on my laptop. Going to keep it brief as on my mobile ;

Can't run safemode.
can't run setup from CD
can't restore
Last thing I did was use a USB drive for readyboost

So no matter what I do or what option I pick i get a blue Screen!

Error is page pool header or irql not less or equal.

Is there anything I can do?

are you trying to run setup from cd before booting into windows i take it?
if so sounds liek some sort of cpu/ram issue =[

Sounds like defective memory. Try reseating the modules or removing one of them (if you have more than one).

Hi

Strange that it just suddenly happened. Yeah booting setup from the CD. I'll try reseating the ram.

Has anyone got a link to a startup disk so I can boot from USB? Ill blank the hdd using. That.

Until you find out what's wrong, blanking the HDD wont do anything...

What does readyboost do?

I find it a coincidence this happened immediately after I used that!

I'll let you know if it does anything tomorrow ..
