Windsor Mini-Meet - Tuesday 16th May

Well I've lived here for a total of....3 days, so I probably know it best out of the lot of us :p
There's no shortage of bars, we'll just hit some random one.
 
It's such a shame I've got to drive home afterwards. I take it we all have work the next day? I can do flexi-time, so I'm up for a total **** up if anyone else is?

I start work at 2 the next day and need to be stone cold sober, so 2-3 pints is about the max I can have :(
 
Ah well, was worth a thought. Maybe if it goes well and we all don't hate each other, we'll organise something for another time. I suppose I'd be stretching it - getting hammered a 75 mile drive from home and still making it to work at a reasonable hour :p
 
As much as I'd like 2 free pints, theres no way I can make it back from Portsmouth in time - if it was in a months time I would be up for it. Sorry.

I can be in Windsor for about 7.30/8 so i'll meet PMKeates then, and Scuzi later.
 
What sort of time are you thinking? I've got a presentation tomorrow afternoon followed by a grilling, uh I mean meeting, with my supervisor. I suppose I can't be sure if I'll be there until late afternoon. Argh!

Well I'll be the latest of the lot as I don't finish work until 9:00 - 9:30pm after which I'll bomb down the M4 and drop in for a couple of pints. I believe westy and PMKeates will be there from ~6pm.

problem with windsor is that a lot of the pubs dont accept provision IDs which is what i've got, i know ha ha's accepts it but a lot of the pubs on the main high street wont, if they accept passport then it may be possible
 
It'd be hard for them not to accept a passport, surely? They'll be wanting your birth certificate next! :p

And Raist, I'll meet you in the Hilton Windsor at 5 - according to that map, Essex is only 8 miles away!

Knowing the M25, I'll be in Windsor from 7:30 at the earliest!

Any idea of an easy place to meet first? I don't particularly wanna be driving around and around Windsor looking for a two-stool bar :p
 
Grab me on MSN Scuzi, I may pop down if the weather's nice, I've not driven the Lotus for almost a week and it's feeling neglected. :)
 
Anyone know a pub in Windsor with a car park? I don't like leaving the Lotus on the street/out of my sight on a night out.
 
I've just had a message from -westy- saying he has been called into work tomorrow. I'm thinking we should leave it until another time in that case,
