Wings of Prey Demo in here.

I am playing it and firstly I'd like to say it is awesome on eyefinity. I mean amazing.

Secondly I found it easy to set up the X25 joystick, but use just the pedals from the G25 for the rudder.

The graphics are like nothing I have ever seen on a flight sim. It's basically very, very good fun. But not an ultra hardcore sim. Not awful -- you have 'trim' and everything. but you won't see ultra-sim stuff like the Spitfire stalling if you fly it upside down!!

Just got the game through Steam, I think it's nice

Playing with KB is horrible though, I need my stick

I've been trying to play the demo, but I cant make the controls work :(

(On a keyboard) I don't mind the up/down arrow keys for up/down, and I'd change the left/right arrow keys for rudder, but then I have nothing for yaw (if that's the right word - you know, making the wings move from side to side), if I use other keys on the key board, I cant use the mouse, so I cant use the mouse button to fire. I wish I could use the mouse for left right like in BF2.

*Confused* :)

Just so you know, the rudder controls movement in the yaw axis. You are referring to roll, controlled by the ailerons

I've just bought it too, over here. Strangely from the retail here in the other side of the world, is converted to quids 25.2. Amazon UK sells one for 17.69 only.

This game is so brilliant! I'm in love with it at first glance when I played the demo the day before. Thrilled! Things I've been longing for since day 0 I started playing flight sim games. We have almost real-world looking landscape, those houses in England populated across the green lawns. Greenlands make England look the best and now I can tour myself round in this game, how wonderful this is.

And the game's main theme in the menu is so blood boiling. Same feeling to Secret of War main theme. Also 101st Airborne from a game called Iron Hearts III. Oh! I am speechless flying in the cockpit of the Spitfire. I red "Battle of Britain" when I was 14, He-111, Spitfire, Ju-87 all are the familiar names I the photos are in black and white. Now they all have been revived, this is wonderous.

The beauty is that it comes out from the box 100% playable without significant flaws. Unlike many other titles which needs modding, the time you spend in installing the mods is more than the time you play the game. Oh no thanks sir!

Above all, the plane flies at 250 say really does fly at 250 knots ~ 500Kmh. This is not like other sims Falcon 4, F/A-18 or F-15 which are slow even though they are flying at 500 knots. LOMAC and DCS are like this one, real world speed.

But I have a problem here, maybe not, after I've done the activation it gives me this message which says "Activations Left : 2". Does that mean I can't reinstall it more than another 2 times? Well...in case I need to reinstall who knows...

Well I'll go fly it now...see you guys!

You're right. I haven't seen any other sims like this one. Absolutely eye-candy. Nonetheless, it's medi-core. But then it is good isn't it?

I believe it stalls for once when I was playing the demo. Coolest thing is that the Encyclopedia teaches you all the air combat skills which used to be printed ina manual comes with the box in the old days.

This game sure does reform the standards of flight sims. I can't think of anything which needs improvement!
