This looks like such good fun.

Take one base jumper, cross him with a flying squirrel, add a handful of mountains and a sprinkling of insanity and admire the creation which involves "Falling with style" (spot the toy story reference), across miles of countryside looking like evil knievel.

iirc, some one tried to cross the english channel with one of them, or a modified one.

someone did cross the channel with one ! but i think it was made of hard plastic.

Hmm there was someone who died about a year ago IIRC..



He was trying to fly over a bridge using one of these, but he went too low and struck a railing killing him instantly.


The video of it is horrific. You don't actually see anything but the noise is HORRIBLE.



Very Dangerous but also very addicive i should imagine :)

Ah yes I know that video well ;)

I knew one of the skiiers that waved to him (part of the big party) - that is truly awesome. I wish I could upload all my skydiving vids - but I have far far far too much.

This stuff rocks :cool:
