Hi' Guy's,

I got a copy of spacemonger to see where my 60gb SSD is being used up and 10gb is in the WINSXS folder, any idea what i can delete out of here?

Windows folder comes to 22GB:( I want to get bf3 onto the SSD but at the moment it wont fit.

Nothing, unless you want to hose your system - it contains the canonical copies of critical system files which are referenced by hardlinks elsewhere: Windows 7 SxS Folder.

You could do various other things - disable hibernation, move or shrink the pagefile and switch off system restore, if you haven't already of course.

you can't delete anything safely. there's a high possibility you'll break windows if you do.

60GB was never going to big enough to run windows and games off it. :o

it's done me so far :) most games i ply are things like football manager which ran fine of another drive i have. only moving bf3 on there to see if it will speed it up a bit

cheers guys

i moved my page file to another drive. Also disabled sys restore which has given me enough space :) after moving these i have 7gb free and thats after moving BF3

As for creating link that would work well :) but as im working now i'll leave it :)

have you disabled hibernation? start>all programs>accessories>command prompt. right click and run as administrator. now type in

powercfg -h off
