What do you have your thermostats set to that have seen it come on so much?

Ours is set to not drop below 18 in the day and then 16 at night - and we haven't seen ours come on since the end of March. Last night was the first night that it was getting close to being below 16 in the house and that was at 16.6.

Not sure maybe poor insulation or just soft ? Haven't need to switch on heating since April, supposedly it went down to 5c last night but inside still staying around 17c through the day it gets back into the low 20s without heating that's with the windows still opened not as fully as before though

Soft. Thanks for the giggle. :p

My cabin was 12c this morning. A few farts later and we're at 13.4. The electric heater sits just behind my desk teasing me. Must be strong. Using any form of heating before October is outlawed round here.

My 2x Honeywell thermostats make a pretty loud click when they activate. I think that's common and normal for this model, but it's pretty loud and irritating. I'm wondering if such a thing as a silent thermostat exists?

Usual some sound insulation around it and a noctua fan helps keep my PC quiet and cool... Oh wait... Maybe not!! :D

Yep I've switched our thermostats back to AUTO after being OFF for months. Heating was in use this morning, and probably will be for a couple more days until it warms up again.

@throwaway4372 Don't think you can get around it. Typically they're switching 230v so have a battery powered relay and it clicks. Ours are loud-ish too, but it's only momentary so not a big deal IMO.
