Winter coming?

I don't even have heating in my flat, and have a draft in my room. Man up!



^ This is what I thought of as soon as I saw the thread title.

I've heard it's really cold down south, you must be very hard.

It was 3 degrees this morning where I am, and that's cold. Not "omg the worst winter ever!" cold. But it didn't feel like summer anymore. That's the point of the thread. 3C is not summer weather, ergo summer must be coming to a close and winter is coming (albeit preceded by autumn).

It does bug me when all these hard men come out of the woodwork saying crap like "I haven't used my heating in 20 years so you're a pussy" when someone says "ooh it was a bit chilly this morning, feels like a change in seasons".

Its not cold on the west coast. Its cooling down a little, but I still slept with a fan on last night.

I welcome winter. Cant be doing with this hot and clammy weather.

Definitely feels like summer is losing its grip. Last 2/3 weeks have felt like it, with the mornings and nights becoming visibly darker. This morning is the coldest we've had in a long while, but it was lovely and fresh. Personally, I am really looking forward to Autumn.

Well this summer has been the wettest in 100 years.

We had two lovely weeks of hot weather in May, one in late June I think? And that's it! Hope it turns out to be a scorching September at least!

I look forward to it. I like cold weather - and by that I mean "comfortable cold"..like everyone else its not like I wanna freeze.

Its just nice having the windows open and having cool fresh air
