Winter is coming... so are the sales?

Since its starting to get cold outside now, surely shops with motorcycle clothing will do some kind of sales to shift old stock as new models will be released for the new season?

What shops do you usually look at for winter sales?

My local shops have sales on but there's nothing normally decent in them. I prefer just to get between 5-10% off pretty much everything I buy from my local shop just by asking.

Same here there's a lot of barely used and new stuff on there for not much money but at this point I'm still wondering if I can afford to keep my bike let alone shelling out for new kit.

I had a leather RST Jacket and it lasted 10 years. That's worn day in day out. The last 2 years of that I would not have used it on the bike though

Maybe the RST kit from 10 years ago are different the the recent RST products.

I've got some RST leathers that I use for track days. Not the comfiest of things but held up well when I had a low-side at the track so I'm happy they did their job.

I need some new more wintery gloves but I hate the great big thick marshmallow man thermal gloves and that seems to be the only option looking for something slightly warmer than my summer gloves.

Me too, and i own a lot of RST. Actually, the gloves i have are fantastic, but the rest i am very disappointed in.
