WIP: WC'd Antec 1200 i7 & GTX295 rig dual rads

NOOOOOOOOOOOO don't think they could have used a bigger of me with a cheesy as hell grin if they tried, how embarrassing!!

Yeah thanks for that snaggster mate lol

hehhe nice pic :D

seriously though, nice build, i'm kinda new to all this so it's always good to read through logs like this, i always seem to come across little things like you found with your rad not fitting level because of some clips or something that get in the way, although in that example, i'd guess it helps to stop any air getting trapped in the section of the RAD furthest from the barbs ;)

I liked the thinking behind the fitment at the top rather than the side, i'm not going to have that luxury, as even a top fit is likely to interfere with removing the board, and i'll be tight on fitting fullstop !

Those little ASUS fans - how do you find them ? as i think i'm going to be ending up using 2 of them

I was interested to see how you set the loop up in relation to the dual rads, so obviously i read through the whole thread :) ... were you ever tempted to route...

Reservoir> Pump> CPU> Front rad> GPU's> Top rad> Reservoir

or similar configuration separating the water-blocks with a RAD ?

Nice!

I opened my Antec case up yesterday for a clean, its been kept in a small confined space where temps have been sky high! Not touched it for a good few months either. Opened it up to find it as clean on the inside as the day I built it, not a spec of dust there :) yet all 3 filters at the front completely covered in dust. Cleaned them all, put them back in, and moved my PC to another room where it has a lot more air circulating.

All stripped down now :( case and many of the components are for sale, new project is a fully watercooled Dual Xeon SR-2 build which I will be starting over the next few months :)

Just seen this as you have just posted in here. Im pretty much going to be doing the same thing with my antec 1200. Just not sure if to put a 2nd rad in the front or hang it out the back. Im favouring out the back as i have 4 hard drives one of which i can get rid of but that leaves me with 3 and no where to put one of them.

Excellent job as well btw if mine looks half as good as this i will be happy.

Sad to see you stripping it down tho hope it was goo while it lasted.

That is a great looking build, I read about it in Custom PC a while ago :)

I would like to WC my Antec 1200 in the next few months, is it best to have the rear or top mounted rad, as I will only be doing the CPU. :)
