One of my works vans is a renault kangoo - nice little thing but when there is light rain and I need to use intermittent wipe, it works.......well, intermittently.
What I mean is that sometimes if I put on intermittent wipe, it will swipe the glass 6 or 7 times continuous before stopping, sometimes it will only swipe once but will stop mid swipe making it difficult to see the road.
Mentioned it to a mechanic friend who says its the wiper motor and it'll cost £200 to replace.
Any mechanics in here think he is right - I can't see it being the motor - more like whatever controls the motor.
Any ideas anyone?
