hi, i have a pc with 2 drives 1 with w7 1 with xp i think its more than time too wipe/format the xp hdd but when i try to it asks for xp disk and i cant find it anywhere.any way around it ?
When you boot up does the system ask you if you would like to boot into w7 or xp? I don't think the system will let you format a drive if it thinks it's a system drive. Try to just delete all the content from the drive drive first, then format it.
boot into earlier version of windows
or windows7
but it's selected to auto pick w7,but thinking about it the old will be system hdd.so delete all then format.
