I am currently connected to my Router via a cable, this is an XP SP2 laptop running latest updates.

I have a D-link DWL-G122 also installed and connected, however, the connection is "limited or no connectivity" - IP is 0.0.0.0 and subnet mask is 0.0.0.0

I have tried to repair it, but it fails.

The wired IP is 192.168.1.65
subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

Should i manually assign the IP address to be the same as the wired, or give it a different address totally?

I have never had this situation before! Its doing my nut in!!

Do not set the IP's the same, it will cause a conflict.

Can you get DHCP settings on any other wireless machines? If not, you need to fix the configuration.
