Call me stupid, but with these Wireless Access Points, I can just plug them into a standard RJ45 wall socket can't I?

Just looking at adding wireless access into my office and looking at purchasing something like the HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point. I'm assuming I just need to plug it into one of my existing wall sockets and configure as neccessary.

Does anyone have any tips or reccommendations on such devices.

Thanks

The easiest way to think of it is as a wireless replacement to the cable you'd plug into the socket. If you'd have connected a machine to it, any machine connected through the AP will do exactly the same.

so I can just pick any of my spare wall sockets and plug it in. I guess it will kind of be luck on how strong the signal is, but then I guess if I want to make sure I have reception in my conference room, I just plug it into one of the wall sockets in that room
