As the title i am looking for a good network card.

for some reason my Wi-fi has gone messed up after reformating my laptop. Tried enabling it on bios that dosn't work tried all sorts, unless someone out ther can help.

can anyone recommand me one. don't wont a cheap one. Something that is value for money as long it does the job.

The Router got in the house is a Netgear which sky provided so need something is compatible with that too? Ok did that sound right? :P

Thanks.

Wireless cards always seem to work better if they're the same make as the router as the manufacturers all use different, non-standard enhancements. This means get a Netgear card....

Getting one the same make as your router is usually the best plan. The ones I would avoid are the usb stick type. They are easy to bend and snap if you move your laptop and forget you have it plugged in. The PC Card ones are tougher and it is harder to forget you have then plugged in.

cheaper at competer then Overclockers by miles... competer is only 15 mins drive from my place so that aint a problem.

But was wondering if that is any good? Or should i go for something better?
