Wireless adaptor needed for spare pc.

I need a wireless adaptor for a spare pc running vista 64bit which is probably only 4-5 metres from my bt home hub but I can't use a cable as would mean taking up laminate flooring. Would one of these USB WIRELESS ADAPTORS be suitable? Or would a pci wireless adaptor be more reliable etc?
If these usb adaptors would be fine which one is best?

I think at that range usb ones will do just fine.

And bt have a special wireless technology, should be fine.
