Wireless connecting at login screen

As title really, got a few laptops at work, and I need them to be connected to the wireless network before the user logs in, as different people log onto these laptops, and having to plug them into the network isn't an option.

The laptops are using the Intel Pro-wireless programs, and I cannot find anyway of connecting before the user logs on.

Help!!!

hows the network at work setup? i.e. active directory? any server 2003's?

I think you'll find it is the same problem I had with a machine here.

Windows does not natively do it, so you have to use the software that fits the wireless card to do it. Bad news is not all softwares do it

I ended up going to Linksys as I knew their software had the option for connecting before login.

The Intel Proset software supports this, it's an option when you install it.

Its an Windows 2000 AD... access is via Cisco Aironet 1200 series access points.

The intel proset was preinstalled when we bought the PC's, well Panasonic Toughbook Tablets to be precise

Found it

Add/remove programs, and modify the Intel Proset to install the PLC (pre-logon connect)

Job done!
