I have a Netgear WGT624v3 Router connected to two PCs via 2 Netgear WG311T network cards. The problem is that whenever I use emule for more than a couple of hours at a time I loose the internet connection, forcing me to have to re-input the settings for the network and start again. I really have no idea what's causing it. All the ports are setup correctly, maybe an issue with the amount of connections emule uses...I don't know. Does anyone have any ideas? Both comps are on Win XP and its a blueyonder broadband connection, think its 4meg but I've lost count with the amount of upgrades they give you.

I've done this and its still doing it. I feel it might be a network card issue as my other pc can still access the internet when it goes down on the one using emule.

hmm its semms to be doing it when not using emule aswell now, although it certainly happens more often when i'm using emule.

any ideas?

it does sound like a network card prob or maybe you have spyware or a virus on your system

download these apps

spybot>
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/

update and restart the software then do a scan then fix any
things it finds
