Wireless connection keeps dropping out

Just bought my new Dell XPS 1530 laptop which has integrated wireless, for some reason the connection just drops suddenly every minute or two.

This is the same even if I'm in the same room as the router. I've tried turn the router off and on, restarting the laptop etc. but none of this works.

The connection has dropped out 3 times just whilst i've been typing this out!!!

Interference? Try running on a different channel or run Netstumbler to identify possible nearby WLANs.

What router is it?

Think I figured it out. Part of Vista power management decreases the power of the wireless card when the laptop isn't plugged into the mains. I set it to max and all 'seems' to be good so far

I'll be back if that changes
