Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I need to install wireless into a large house that needs 4 seperate wireless routers/extenders, how can I go about doing it so it only shows one wireless network but connects to the strongest signal router wherever you are in the house.

I was thinking powerline and 4 seperate routers, but from memory even if you set the wireless network name and detailss on each router it will still show up as multiple in a connect list?

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

You need to setup WDS (wireless distribution system) - this is how it's done for businesses, I believe. All your routers will need to support it. I believe a large number of routers do support it, however I think most are limited to WEP whereas you will want WPA/WPA2. I think ddwrt supports this, so I would hope that your routers are compatible.
