hi guys looking for a wireless flash trigger that will work with my pentax k10d as the flash i have is not wireless

i will use it mounted on a bracket at the side of my camera and for some back lights and other fun

so please recommend me one or point in right direction :D

£21 will get you one on the bay, i typed in wireless flash trigger pentax and lots popped up.

First result - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....280862&cguid=800bece611e0a0aad3364a86ffdd731a

Edit - might not be what you're looking for if you intend on mounting it to a camera bracket as it seems to be designed for tripods or lightstands

camera brackets have standard tripod screws generally :) I cant click that link as i'm at work, but most of the wireless receivers by the likes of cactus etc all have hotshoe plates as well, so will work with almost any bracket!

What flash do you have at the moment?

I'm not sure about these wireless flash triggers to be honest, and you don't know if long term they'll damage the camera body, what with trigger voltage issues etc.

If you've got a decent flash at the moment, it might be worth selling it and getting a Pentax Af 360 FGZ (£159) which will work wirelessly with your K10d out of the box?

They're low voltage so they'll be fine, it's certainly not as risky as using an old flash with a DSLR for example.

Incidentally I bought ones that look identical to that link above, they arrived this morning , they work well :)

i have a singam ef-530dg st

its sucks was told it was wireless but its not or not as far as i can tell got it about 6months ago for about £100

Afraid not old bean. Its big brother, the Super, is however wireless. But also much more expensive.
That said, surely £100 isn't bad for a modern ETTL flash ect...

yer tbh i got it at a good price and am very happy with it but like i said shame about the wireless so i guess i will give these £20 things a go from the bay in a bit when i get round to it.
