Wireless Gaming Mice

I currently have a Logitech G7 wireless mouse that I use at about 3 meters from the receiver. On the whole it works well under XP with a little stuttering from time to time, but is flippin’ terrible under Vista. The pointer refuses to go in a straight line, trying to click a close button is a nightmare

Are there are better wireless gaming mice available that work well for both XP and Vista?

Just a quick question - do you have it plugged into usb or ps2 connector.

My MX-1000 was very erratic when plugged into usb under Vista. Plugged it into ps2 using adapter and its fine.

Plugged into usb at the moment as it has a battery charger which gets it's power through usb. The receiver bit can be removed from the battery charger so might try it with an adaptor tonight.
