Hi all,
Looking for some wireless headphones for music/movies to use with my Mac.

I have tried some Edifier W800BT Pro but they were super quiet for some reason, using with both with my Mac Mini and iPhone. Maybe I am too used to my in ear headphones with comfy tips which makes the bass louder and tight seal?!

Was trying to look for something under 100 but saw the Sony ULT, anything else I should look at?

Thanks

Personally I use Sony WH-CH720N's at home with my iPad and MacMini. They are older than the ULT's and I've had mine for 3yrs now (woah). They've held up superbly in both build quality, battery life and earpad condition in that time. The headphones switch to whatever device has an active audio signal as they should do.
Soundwise I would say they are 'good' - we're talking BT here so SBC and AAC are pretty much on offer compared to the latest models. I don't use the ANC as it isn't needed at home.

I do have the uGreen Max5C ANC headphones as a backup. I grabbed these for £20 last Christmas. Built quality is tops, as is battery life. Sound quality out of the box is extremely bass heavy so you need the app to choose a suitable EQ profile and that kills a product for me - requiring an app. I've kept these stashed away since purchase so I can't say much more.

I'm surprised that they run at such low volume, have you checked all of your settings?

I use the Sony 1000-XM5 headphones with Macbook air M4 at work and they are good.

Without knowing your budget, it's hard to recommend something.

If I had to go out and buy a new set of headphones, I'd get a pair of the Sennheiser HDB 630 as it comes with an adapter and great EQ.

My budget was under 100, the Sony ULT I can get for 88 new. I keep reading about the hinge is a weak point, not that I will be doing anything apart form using them sat in front of my PC/Mac.

I checked all the settings, everything maxed out. I downloaded the app on the phone and disabled with noise cancelling which made a small difference. My cheapo earbuds sound louder.
