Wireless hotspot server/software

Hey,

Has anyone on here experimented with wireless hotspot servers/software? I'm doing a project on the creation of one within a site with about a 0.6 mile radius. I've looked into chillispot, zonecd and a few others but zonecd fails to boot on my machine so I've not really tested that one.

If any of you have any experience or suggestions I'd appreciate it

Thanks for the reply, but looks like you have to be a linux pro to get that one going!
