Wireless Interference

I'm having problems when using the wireless feature on my Netgear WPN824 108Mbps RangeMax Wireless Cable/DSL Router, anytime data is transferred wirelessly it interferes with my G7 mouse (making it jumpy and unuseable). Aside from putting the router somewhere else is there something that can be done?

Change the channel that the Wifi uses.

Yeah, but i've found out what the issue was there, it was set to 108 Auto, which limits the channel to 6. I have changed that now. I just need to go through the channels and see which gives me the least interference when I get home.

i had the same sort of problem and using channel 11 fixed it for me

108mbps speeds may require channel 6 depending on the chipset, not using 6 may drop your speeds though not usually an issue for internet.

Are you using a usb wireless adapter?

I thought you weren't suppose to use channels higher than 4? For legal reasons I read somewhere here or another...

I haven't had much chance to test these yet, but i'm only using wireless usb for my mouse. everything else is internal.
