Wireless is connected but net not working

Hi all,

Got a computer here which is wirelessly connected to a network, it can browse the shared drives on the network and share data between the two.

But it will not bring down a new webpage, it did have a trojan so I've removed that, need to know else it could be?

I swear there was an easy fix for this that I had at my old place.

Any ideas?

At my old company we had a fix for this as an exe on the pen drive, and I for the life of me cannot remember the name of it.

Im downloading Firefox now to see if that works...

Can you ping www.bbc.co.uk or 212.58.227.76?
Output from start, run, cmd, ipconfig /all might be useful.

OK Firefox doesn't work.

Cannot ping it says "Cannot find the host"

I have checked the hosts file which is fine.

ipconfig /all looks fine. Has an IP Address, gateway, DNS etc.

EDIT: Tried that IP and got replys when pinging.

EDIT: Sorted out - incorrect DNS input.
