Hey guys!
I'm having a problem with my brothers wireless network, I'm connected to the internet fine via ethernet through his dynamode router with the IP assigned by DHCP, however his pc upstairs, which has a wireless adapter will not connect to the network through DHCP, instead it gets an automatic private address of 169 something something something, I have tried manually assigning it an address which lets me connect to the network but there is no downstream data. I can ping the router and what I think is the ISP, but thats the only way any packets come downstream, it is impossible to get on any websites/msn etc!
I've restored the router to default settings and reinstalled the wireless
