wireless keyboard and mouse?

I've used a few wireless keyboards and mice in the past, most have had problems with missing keystrokes or losing signal.

Can anyone recommend a set that actually works well?

Whats the point with wireless kb/m anyway? I don't move more than 1m from my pc and when i do i can't see **** on my monitor.

Yes, you don't but that's besides the point.

Many people like the no-wires or move their kb + mouse away from their desk for some reason.

I bought one for my father who does loads of office work and he finds it a joy to use, it tracks very well.
