Wireless Keyboard - what's with the 2.4Ghz ?

I'm looking at a wireless keyboard/mouse package. I see some advertised as 2.4Ghz - what is this, should I care ? Currently in my house I have the usual Wireless Virgin router, and a wireless phone setup.

2.4 ghz is the frequency the keyboard is working at. Its the same used by mobile phones, wireless doorbell ringers etc. It's pretty much the standard oh and btw it wont interfere with anything so you've got no worries.

What frequencies does 802.11b/g/n use??? 2.4Ghz

I think that might be right..
