Hi all

Im looking for a small wireless keyboard for my HTPC for those annoying error messages that the remote wont clear, or when you need to do that bit of config work. It needs to have a mouse intergrated too, like a track pad or track ball, aswell as small to just stash away for most of the time. I know there are some official Microsoft ones, but there rather pricy so im up for any and all suggestions.

Cheers

I wouldn't get that. I've heard very bad things about it, and everything from that company. It's very bad build quality and it's got a range of less than a metre.

What matters is how much you want to spend. Then we can suggest good quality products for you.

Well the official Microsoft ones are £40ish, and dont look to have the best of intergrated mice, if at all, although Ive never used one so will be gladly proved wrong. £40 is probubly the max budget though, but i will buy from the bay or second hand if its decent.

i have the keysonic for my media centre and works amazingly well from the 2 metres or so i use it. at the price its a nice thing to have

Hmm... think ill want a longer range than 3m.

anyone got ur used one of these? There seems to be quite a few on the bay, altho there quite pricey.

I've also had the Keysonic for use on my HTPC and it worked fine from my armchair which was about 4 metres away, and this was with the dongle plugged into the back of the pc too!
