Hi All,

Just after a quick answer really.

Im after a wireless keyboard so when i get round to wiring up my 32" lcd to my computer i can use the keyboard whilst lying on my bed. And also when using my monitor for FPS games i can quickly switch to my desk.

However im just wondering what are the setups these days for wireless keyboards - i know a friend a few years ago had one however needed to have the reciever thingy like directly opposite to the keyboard, these days is it possible to have it onto op say your PC case and wander around the room (within obvius range) and still be able to use the keyboard fine?

I will mostly be using the tv as monitor when just MSN / Web / Occasional wooping of nubbins on command and conquer (will be going for a wireless mouse / keyboard combination for 32" viewing and using my razer for serious gaming (well kinda!!)

Which comes to my last question - is it possible to have both wireless mouse & wired mouse connected at the same time?

THanks :D:D:D:D

I find Logitech wireless stuff always works straight away with no problems at all.

I also have a wireless Cherry keyboard which works fine.

As for having a wireless and wired mouse connected at the same time, shouldn't be a problem. Whichever you move should take control.

I have both wireless mouse/kb and no problems at all!

Battery is still full on the KB too (S510) and it's the original set that came with it in October.

LOL, made me laugh, great idea for testing :P

im guessing the microsoft stuff will be just as good then - the 1000v or whatever?

No Idea about MS stuff but from using MS wireless keyboards and mice before the keyboards seem fine (though less customisable than the Logitech ones) but the mice do have noticeable lag whereas the Logitech ones do not (I have the MX1000 going almost 2 years on now)

The Laser MS mice may be different but the Optical....Hmmm

I had microsoft wireless keyboard+mouse and the range was gd aslong as u dnt have large objects between u and the antenna e.g a desk chair. Ive currently got a wired keyboard and mouse at one end of my room on my main 22inch lcd sceen and wireless logitech mouse at the other infront my old 17 inch lcd which i use as a itunes dukebox and it works fine no conflict!
