Do these things exist? I've been looking but can't find any wireless mechanical keyboards. I LOVE mechanical keyboards and don't want to go back to membrane, but I'm equally sick of the cable that gets tangled up in everything as I have to move it regularly and can't use it away from the desk.

I've been using Cherry MX Blues on my current QPad keyboard so ideally I'd like those again and preferably backlit...

I feel like I'm not asking for the impossible here, but is there really no market for a wireless mechanical keyboard? I can't find them!

Yes, a google will find they exist but they lack the immediacy of a wired keyboard.

Why not simply plug in a second wireless keyboard to use when you need? Not in use - shove it in a drawer.

I've not had any luck finding a wireless mechanical keyboard... not one that I can actually buy at least! i managed to find an article that reviewed four of them, but you can't buy them anywhere...

Buying a second wireless keyboard doesn't solve any of my issues, so that would be pointless. For a start it wouldn't be mechanical... secondly Windows only allows one keyboard to be connected at a time, so I'd have to restart the PC everytime... Thridly I'd still have to move my wired keyboard out of the way, which is the problem when it's connected via a cable.

So, I'm still searching... If you've managed to find a keyboard for sale in the UK, I'd love to know the make / model so I can find it myself!

I haven't had issues with multiple keyboards plugged into my PC before but I agree that wireless mechanical keyboards seem something of a rarity.
I'd be interested in a wireless mechanical keyboard with no numeric keypad and no loads of LEDs all over it.

I'm hoping that Halfmad will come back to tell me what keyboards he found doing a Google search... I've emailed a couple of keyboard specialist companies and they've all come back and said they've got nothing!

I can't tell you where to buy this as it would be against the rules.
I can however let you know the name of the keyboard. It is "Varmilo VB87M Bluetooth Keyboard". It looks nice.

It's almost perfect except for three things:

1) I can't find it for sale anywhere....
2) It's missing a number pad, which is a big deal for me as I use mine a LOT.
3) It appears to be only made in a US layout which is no good for me!

Still looking....

I've since found the KBtalKing Pro keyboard which is a full size wireless mechanical keyboard. However, yet again it's only available in a US layout and isn't actually available at the moment!
