I wasn’t sure if this was better suited to the sound forum, but thought I’d try here first.

Really just looking for recommendations for a wireless lav mic for my iPhone.
Not for professional use by any means but just looking something that will provide an upgrade on the built in microphone. Would mainly be used (albeit very occasionally) for talks/presentations that I sometimes get asked to video. Might also use for some YouTube stuff but that’s a while off yet.

Amazon has no shortage of options but as usual it’s very difficult to pick through the genuine and fake reviews.

I am also confused about this one and I am looking for a solution.
I recently tried recording a voice memo on my 14 Pro to send to a family member and the volume was so low, even when I removed the phone from the case. There are so many mics out there I don't even know where to begin also.

DJI mic will work, you don't need the full kit with the receiver, just a single transmitter, they are Bluetooth so you can just pair with the phone.

I have the the full Mic 2 set, but a single Mic Mini will do fine for your use case.

Apologies all - I thought the thread had gone cold and only just happened to look at it again today.
The DJI mics would certainly tick all the boxes but ultimately more than I would be prepared to spend on something that might only get used 5 or 6 times a year.
I ended up buying a set of Boya mics (BY-WM3T2-U2 for those that are interested) for a very good price from Amazon.
Have only mucked about with them in the house but they work perfectly fine although they'll not win any audio quality awards.
