After the last windows 11 update my wireless mouse keeps on falling asleep and it is driving me nuts. I have looked in every place I can think for USB powersaving and turned it off but it keeps on doing it plus I originally thought it was the mouse so I replaced it but same thing.

Any other ideas?

What mouse is it?
Do you have proprietary software installed for it?
Did you setup a profile for it, that you've tweaked to your settings - i.e. button layout/RGB etc; as that might have a 'turn off after X' that you've missed?

Its just a cheapie Acer mouse, will see if there are drivers for it. This is a replacement mouse as the old one was doing the same thing after a latest update.

OK, maybe Windows update, removed a working driver, and replaced it with a generic one/crap new driver with a silly feature the predecessor didnt have?

Open Device Manager and go to the usb (bottom) and check in properties that the "turn mouse off to save power" is NOT checked; then check your power settings, reboot pc.
