Wireless mouse/keyboard

Brought the cheapish wireless Microsoft mouse/keyboard set today from OC.

Keyboard is working without fault, however every 20secs or so (randomly) the mouse pointer will stop moving but the scroll wheel can still be used.

Any ideas?

Do you have other wireless devices that can interfere with the mouse?

Does it still do it when you have the mouse close to the receiver?

Have you "sync'd" the mouse and the receiver and have you installed the latest intelli point software from the MS site?

done both of the above and it still keeps stopping.

the scroll and buttons work fine but every now and then the lazer underneath goes off, and so the pointer doesn't move.
