Wireless network card was working with unsigned drivers (Netgear wg311v3). Had to manually select F8 at startup to allow unsigned drivers to load. Tried many drivers to attempt to avoid having to do this. Eventually I couldn't get any drivers to make the card work (not even the original ones that worked).

I removed the card from the PCI slot. Re-booted into windows 7. Then shutdown. Then reseated the card. Now the card doesn't even appear in Windows 7 device manager.

There is no BIOS option to disable wireless pci cards (Gigabyte EP45 UD3R) that I can find.

Has the card been fried or might there be another reason why the card doesn't even show up in Device Manager?
