My trust Belkin N1 USB wireless adapter is dying, it'll drop out randomly and then say 'USB device not recognised' so I'm in the market for a PCI wireless card.
Please excuse my lack of knowledge in this area but would the data transfer rate between these two cards actually make any difference to me? Is it worth spending the money on the 1300Mb/s one? Can my internet speed keep up with it?And also will it work fine with a BT HomeHub?

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus PCE-AC66 Dual Band 5GHz Wireless - AC1750 PCI-E Adapter £62.40
1 x Asus PCE-N10 Network Adapter 150Mbps - PCI Express £14.99
Total : £87.29 (includes shipping : £8.25).

Much appreciated :)

Do you have an 802.11ac compatible router/wireless access point? (I have no idea if the BT HH is .11ac or not, my gut feeling would be "no" though).

If you only have 802.11n, then there is absolutely no point in buying the 802.11ac card ;)

For your internet connection? No. You'll be limited by the connection itself rather than the wireless setup. Hence my question of streaming or copying files to/from a NAS or another PC. If you do this then a 300Mb/s one may make sense. If it's purely for your internet connection then no, it won't make any difference.
