Wireless network problem

Hi guys me and my neighbour have decided to cut cost of having 2 internet accounts so have decided to share one account. So anyway im having trouble connecting to his wireless network when using my Desktop pc, i can connect using my lappy and ipad but not my main pc whats the reason for this anyone know ?

We are attached to each other signal is fine password is correct but wont let desktop connect but ipad and laptop connect no problem.

get a usb adapter with high gain antenna and usb extention cable...

Im using a usb adapter.

I wonder if this is the problem your desktop is G and the otehrs are N will have to see if i can get a new usb adapter that uses N

The Usb wireless adapter i have now is WLAN 802.11b so looks like i need a new one.

Your desktop running windows vista? If so do a windows update and choose optional updates an update the nic

So got my new 150Mbps USB Wireless WiFi Adapter 802.11b/g/n but still cant get connection.

I get signal ok it asks for key i put key in but says wrong key but same key works on my laptop and ipad.
