Wireless network

Hi,

My home network consists of a VM modem connected to a Linksys WRT54G. The router is wired to a desktop PC and connects via wireless to two laptops.

This setup has worked perfectly for the past couple of years until a few days ago. The laptops keep loosing the wireless connection. It would seem the router is stopping and starting the wirelss.

However the wired link to the desktop PC is fine and still retains its connection.

Anyone have any idea as to what the problem with the router could be?

next door neighbour on the same channel?

try changing channels

Have any electrical items been moved need the access point? Any flourescent lights? Moved anything else? Neighbours getting building works done?

Already checked, and no other networks are on the same channel.

The router is next to the desktop so electrical devices are sometimes in the area, but no more than previously.
