I have an Lenovo z61P Laptop (Awesome Laptop btw),running vista enterprise 32bit, but I have a few issues with the wireless networking.

It has an Intel 3945ABG Wireless Nic, which at home picks up my BT Voyger router without issue.

It work we have a Draytek Vigor 2800 Router, but I can't see it no matter how hard I try.

My colleague with the same laptop with Vista, like me can see it now and again.

Another guy, again with the same laptop running XP Pro has no issues.

Any advice?

We had the same problem with the first vista laptop we bought, it wouldnt/couldnt connect to the access point in work. I thought it was something i was doing wrong (bit confused by the new networking centre), until we bought another six and they all connected first time, every time.

Have you tried updating the drivers for the nic? That's what i'm going to try with this problem laptop, next time i see it.

To contradict the post above its also worth noting (from my personal experience) several wireless adaptors ive used have gone a bit odd (like what you have described) after installing updates to the drivers through windows updates
