Wireless page not loading.

Hi guys,

My neighbours had a new connection today. I set it up all fine and the first laptop I connected to the WLAN connected fine.

However I'm having issues with the 2nd laptop - The Wireless key is correct and Windows 7 is reporting that it is connected, however no web pages will load, they all just seem to time out.

If I connect the 2nd laptop with an ethernet connection, web pages will load fine.

Any idea what usually causes this?

Could be a DNS issue; try typing http://173.194.37.104 into the browsers address bar.

Tried pinging the router from the command line? Pinging a website etc maybe do a nslookup.

Do these and report back. Might be a simple case of reinstalling the wireless adaptors driver.

First step would probably be to do an ipconfig to check it is being assigned an IP
