Manufacturers have been producing the cards for years. There is some comment that the official ratification body (Part of IEEE?) is so slow, inefficient and out of touch that it is irrelevent. IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0 is a de facto manufacturers standard from what I have been reading. Check out Wiki and similar sites for more info.
