I have had my wireless setup running ok for over a year now but yesterday the 2 wireless pc's were unable to connect to the router. Is there any way i can tell for sure it is the router having the problem as it is fine wired to this pc.

Setup is..

PC1 wired to linksys WRT54G - Working
PC2 wireless card WMP54G - No signal
PC3 wireless card WMP54G - No signal

Lights on router are

Power ----on
DMZ ------off
WLAN ----on
Port 1 ----Flashing
Internet - Flashing

All pc's running XP

I had a problem like this with the very first belkin wireless router. Worked fine for 10 months then poof! Got a new one and a year later the same thing happenned. Restoring factory defaults worked for me (although it still doesnt like being 'reset' normally which really rattles my cage when the net goes pear-shaped and my little brother decides to start pressing random buttons to try and make it work again!

Anyway! My reccomdendation is that you find the reset button and hold that in for 10+ seconds until the lights start blinking furiously. If that doesnt solve your problem you might try taking it back to the shop and use the good old sad face :D (take a wailing child, it could give you more leverage against the shop assistant :p )

Thanks for your advice, i had tried that a couple of times but made no difference. This morning i changed the channel to 6 instead of 11 and the signal was there low but there. How can this be as it worked on 11 for ages now?

Well since i changed channel i am getting low signals and random disconnecting.Has my router just about had it?
